Tibetan Spaniel Club Of Scotland 15th April 2018

Best in show: BIS Torfness Prince Harry At Galetibbian and RBIS GB, IR, FR & INT CH Avigdor Elvira

After 45 minutes journey I arrived to the sunny but still chilly Alva, one of my favourite places with the surrounding mountains, what a breath-taking view! The well known Cochrane Hall provided the venue for the Championship Show of the Tibetan Spaniel Club Of Scotland. The hall is big enough to accommodate the ring, the exhibitors' crates and table for the trophies, oh and the kitchen! Fully staffed, it provided a wide range of foods and drinks throughout the day, the cakes looked absolutely fabulous! Thanks a lot for my coffees and the lunch!

The cheerful, friendly committee ensured that the show ran smoothly in a relaxed atmosphere. Not often you see the cheer from ringside when the class winners were announced, it didn’t seem to make a difference who it was, the applause came instantly - sportmanship at its best!

The judge for the day was Mr Jussi Liimatainen from Finland and examined each exhibit thoroughly. While I know nothing about this breed, I could see what he was looking for when placing the dogs. He found his final winners in the following dogs:

BIS Torfness Prince Harry At Galetibbian
RBIS GB, IR, FR & INT CH Avigdor Elvira
BPIS Balgay Thu Trem
BVIS GB, IR, FR & INT CH Avigdor Elvira
