With reference to Mr Pickering notes I feel it necessary to make this comment. Mr Pickering states he is reporting on the UK dogs but has failed to report the full facts of all the UK dogs in his breed notes that attended the German Winner Show. BouvPilot Maiden America not only won her class but was also awarded the VDH-Certificate and RES CACIB. In my opinion quite an achievement for a young bitch and should be acknowledged. Also Liskport Lord of the Rings was awarded the CACIB per the FCI rules. It appears a very harsh comment to use the word default when Mr Pickering is supposedly reporting on the successes of UK dogs. At the World Show Liskport Lord of the Rings, BouvPilot Maiden America and BouvPilot Memphis Belle were also graded Excellent which Mr Pickering also failed to report! I trust this clarifies any queries raised by all who have contacted BouvPilot enquiring why these awards have been omitted in Mr Pickerings notes.
As is the norm Mr Pickering cherry picks his reporting results Unfortunately he is not experienced enough in the dog game to know that with european results the first listed dog is not necessarily first in class - it is numerically first. SO Mrs Pierpoint's bitch was not 1st in the Bitch Puppy class as reported but last in class and graded Very Good. I could go on and on... BouvPilot Maiden America happened to gain Res Best Bitch - not a bad result for a very young intermediate ! Also where does his logic lie? Where does he gain his expertise / no experience? I believe I commented in some journal that the UK entry at Champ Shows and the Dutch entry was on a par. He belittled this. Making out that the dutch entries were around the 50 mark - what planet is he on? The Dutch entries bar the Club shows have been regularly ticking over at 15- 25 for years. Also quoting Darlington as an example of our entries where we had no CCs on offer . Quoting Richmond - Not even any Classes!! Come on, your usual put me downs need more intelligence Mr Pickering!

DogFocus are keen to ensure accurate reportage, I would like to suggest that you send any results directly to Mr Pickering or to me at breednotes@dogfocus.co.uk it is possible that breednote writers do miss placings and results and we do appreciate your input to complete the record. However, I'm not sure what you hope to achieve by attacking an individual who has at least taken the time to produce breednotes for you to read. Surely it is better to support and promote your breed by ensuring correct results are published than to give an impression of those involved in the breed as waspish . Dogfocus was created to encourage and to offer alternative opinions, some of which you may not agree with but we had hoped that intelligent debate would occur by allowing you to comment , in public, on the breednotes. Personal attacks are not putting you or your breed in a good light so please, put aside your remarks that are better suited to social media and let us have some relevant information as befits those with a long term interest in the breed.
