Two classy youngsters.
1st: 2906 PARKER Mrs L J Draxpark Red Hot. Scored here with her slightly more mature body. Strong lengthy head, good neck and shoulders. Very typical in outline with good hind angulation. Moved well with an easy stride.
2nd: 2917 VEAL Mr M R Philoma Midnight Sun. A good moving youngster with lots of quality. Excellent head and expression. Good forehand with decent bone and well-padded feet. I remember judging her sire at much the age and she too is one who will do well with a bit more maturity.

Class 994 PD (1 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 2916 TYSON Mrs C M Tyshunde Apprentice. Presents a most pleasing picture standing with his good neck, firm sloping topline and well angulated hindquarters. In profile, he displayed some reach and drive. Good textured jacket. Best Puppy.

2nd: 2907 PARKER Mrs L J Spartacus Radinie At Draxpark (Imp Cze). Strong and masculine and shown in excellent condition with good muscle tone and a lovely harsh jacket. Well ribbed, strong meaty hindquarters which are well angulated and enabled him to move with some drive.

Class 998 OD (3 Entries) Abs: 0
A good class with three top class dogs.
1st: 2918 VEAL Mr M R Ch Philoma Man After Midnight. I can recall judging him as a puppy when he was still very raw but he has matured beautifully and really ticks all the boxes now. Flat clean skull, well set ears, strong jaw. Strong crested neck with good shoulders. Decent forechest and good depth of brisket. Moves well with a powerful driving action and his excellent jacket was presented to best advantage.
2nd: 2915 SMITH Mrs H J & Mr R A Ch Boston Blackstone-n (Imp). He has lots of quality, masculine head, moderately long neck and excellent forehand. Well ribbed with short, strong loin. Strong well angulated hindquarters. Retained his topline at all times. Reserve CC.
3rd: 2902 HOUCHIN, Mr M & Mrs J A & HOUCHIN Miss H O Ch Philoma Pay Back Time For Barnsdale Sh.CM

Class 1000 MPB (3 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: 2908 PARKER Mrs L J Draxpark Hotter Than Hot. Quite mature but in no way overdone. Pleasing head, moderately broad chest and decent depth of brisket. Firm sloping toplline and short loin. Strong well-made hindquarters.
2nd: 2899 CULLEN Mr & Mrs K Philoma Lyrica Lloyd. Less finished than the winner but she is very promising with good length of head, well set ears and dark eye. Decent neck and shoulders. Good rib and short loin.

Class 1001 PB (2 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 2914 ROE, Mr G H & STEWART Mr T E Brooke Athena Echodream. A typey attentive showgirl with a pleasing head, keen expression. Fair depth and breadth of chest. Shown in good coat and condition. Pleasing profile action.

Class 1002 JB (1 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 2909 PARKER Mrs L J Daserbe Chase The Ace To Draxpark. Good length of head, well set ears, strong muzzle. Good depth of chest, some forechest. Well ribbed and presents a most pleasing outline. Impressed on the move as she is very accurate both up and down and in profile has both reach and drive. Harsh double coat. Reserve CC.

Class 1004 LB (2 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: 2919 WHITNEY Mr M H H Primavista's Got The Look. Very easy to handle as she was calm and gentle but obviously would have preferred to have been elsewhere. Good length of head. Decent forehand with adequate bone, well ribbed. Moved out soundly but sadly, with little enthusiasm. Good coat.

Class 1005 OB (1 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 2900 CULLEN, Mr & Mrs K & S & THOMAS Mrs R Ch Philoma Lana Lang. I realise now having looked at the catalogue that she is the litter sister to the dog CC winner and having admired her as a rather raw puppy she has matured into a top class animal. Very good head and expression, flat creaseless forehead, well set ears. Excellent forehand with moderately broad and deep chest, decent forechest. Well ribbed with a good topline and short strong loin. Well muscled, nicely angulated hindquarters. Displayed a powerful driving action on the move and she was true and accurate both up and down. Presented to best advantage. CC & BOB.
